This delightful scarf is woven from cotton and rayon and is 58" by 6.5" with 6" fringes. An adaptation of the Japanese Shibori method is used. Shibori is a labor intensive Japanese resist dyeing technique used since the 8th Century. Often used for creating intricate patterns on kimonos it can involve elaborate gathering and stitching of the fabric before dyeing. Gently hand wash your scarf to preserve its good looks.
